ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One of Frank Spaziani’s best recruiting pitches will be on display at Super Bowl 50.
Spaziani, who was the head coach at Boston College from 2009-2012 and is the new defensive coordinator at New Mexico State, will be watching and cheering on Carolina Panthers all-everything linebacker Luke Kuechly during the big game Sunday.
Kuechly, one of the best players in the NFL, was recruited by and played for Spaziani when he was head coach at Boston College.
“Luke was a phenomenal football player, and it was certainly a pleasure to coach him,” Spaziani said.
