ROSWELL, N.M. – The New Mexico State baseball team came up just short in the second game of the Rio Grande Rivalry Series against New Mexico, falling 3-2. The four-game series is now tied up at one game apiece.
This was a true pitcher's duel as Dalton Shalberg faced only faced three over the minimum through the first three innings. UNM starter Luis Gonzalez only faced two over the minimum in the same span.
