LAS VEGAS - A win in doubles action gave the NM State men's tennis team a 1-0 lead, but host UNLV won four singles matches to earn a 4-1 win over the Aggies Friday afternoon at the Frank & Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex.
DOUBLES
• The doubles point appeared in jeopardy for the Aggies as Martin Simecek and Petr Stavrovskij dropped a 6-2 decision on line one, but NM State's lower pairs picked up the slack.
• Louis Menard and Jordy Visser joines forces for a 6-4 victory in the third flight, leaving it up to Nicolas Buitrago and Corey Clarke.
