LUBBOCK, Texas – Led by senior Viviana Macias, the New Mexico State Aggies moved up one spot to finish 11th at the 2016 Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course on Saturday.
The Aggies collected a final round 304 for a total of 907 for 11th, 14 strokes ahead of Cal Poly at 921 and just two behind Texas State that placed 10th at 905. The Aggies 304 was the third lowest score for the final round.
Macias, the senior from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, played another steady round on the par 72, 6,541-yard Rawls Course with a 2-over-par 74 on Saturday.
