Aggie softball rallies to beat Maine in Tampa

CLEARWATER, Fla. – A five-run sixth inning gave the New Mexico State softball team a 7-5, come-from-behind victory over Maine on Sunday in their final game of the USF Under Armour Showcase at the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex.

NMSU (20-10) scored seven runs and amassed six RBIs on 13 hits. Rachel Rodriguez went 2-for-3 and scored two runs. Fahren Glackin pitched 5.0 innings and had five strikeouts in 17 batters faced.

Maine (3-4) scored five runs and had four RBIs on six hits. Annie Kennedy pitched 5.2 innings and allowed six runs on 12 hits in 30 batters faced.
