LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State soccer team (3-7) could not get the offense going in a 1-0 loss to UTRGV on a windy Saturday afternoon at the NM State Soccer Athletic Complex. Saturday's game was the first time the Aggies have played in Las Cruces since Oct. 24, 2019.
Much like Thursday's game, the Aggies were in attack mode from the start, as they controlled the time of possession in the first half. The Aggies were able to six shots off compared to the Vaqueros two. Sophomore and freshman each had good looks in the first half but were unable to find the back of the net.
