WEST POINT, Miss. – NM State opened play at the Mossy Oak Collegiate on Monday as they competed alongside 13 other programs at the Mossy Oak Golf Course. After two rounds, the Aggies are in 13th place, shooting a combined score of 585 to finish the day nine over par. Meanwhile, Auburn built a comfortable 13-stroke lead to pace the field at 35-under par through two rounds.
Individually, Anthony Lara was the top-ranking Aggie as the sophomore from Anthony, N.M., carded a pair of 71s to enter round three two under par and in a tie for 18th.
