ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State’s men’s basketball team has had little time to lick its wounds from losing at New Mexico. Its other big rival is awaiting tonight in El Paso (7 p.m., 540 AM in Las Cruces, 93.7 and 1240 AM in Albuquerque).
The 5-5 Aggies routed 6-3 UTEP in their first matchup, 73-59 in Las Cruces on Dec. 2. But NMSU starting point guard Ian Baker is questionable to play tonight, the school said, after taking a blow to the back of his head in a 79-61 loss to the Lobos at the Pit on Wednesday.
