Women's Soccer: Lobos can't match first-half intensity after the break

In the 90th minute and tied at 1-1, the Rebels and the Lobos appeared to be destined for overtime at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

That all changed with just three seconds to go, when UNLV senior midfielder Jordan Magnin fired a looping ball into the top corner of the net, giving junior Lobo goalkeeper Taylor Hammack no chance.

The Lobos (6-6-2, 2-4-0 MW) began the game with intensity and were immediately rewarded for it. In the 5th minute, senior defender Brooke Webster sent in a looping cross to find senior defender Olivia Ferrier, who controlled the ball to then fire it in off the underside of the crossbar.
