ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women's soccer team has bolstered its roster and added a wealth of international playing experience with the signing of Italian forward Margherita Giubilato as a transfer for the 2020 season.
A native of Martellago, Italy, Giubilato comes to UNM after spending her freshman season at the University of Kansas. While at Kansas, Giubilato saw action in four games and notched a season-high 18 minutes against Kennesaw State.
"Margherita comes to us with an extensive background including time with the Italian National Team," remarked head coach Heather Dyche.
