ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico athletic department has announced that it will hold their annual "Pack the Pit" game this coming Saturday, February 2 when the first-place women's basketball team takes on Fresno State inside Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit.
The Lobos are currently 17-2 overall and in first place in the Mountain West standings at 7-1. Additionally, the Lobos are receiving votes in both the AP Top-25 and WBCA Top-25 national polls. Their opponent on Saturday is off to a great start in league play as well as Fresno State is currently 13-5 overall and 6-1 in the MW.
