ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— With the cross country season about to pick up for The University of New Mexico cross country teams and the Mountain West Championships set to take place on Nov. 1, the Lobo women have been picked as the top team in the MW Midseason Poll released on Thursday afternoon.
As voted on by the conference head coaches, the Lobo women received 10 first-place votes for 100 votes, earning the same point total as in the preseason poll, and nine more points than Boise State.
Last season, the women earned the midseason poll top spot on their way to their 11th consecutive MW cross country title and have garnered the No.
