ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — University of New Mexico men's soccer player Chris Wehan has been named to the watch list for the Missouri Athletic Club's (MAC) Hermann Trophy, the most prestigious individual award in NCAA soccer.
Wehan, a senior midfielder from Laguna Niguel, Calif., claimed a spot on the watch list for the second straight year. The award winners will be announced Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, during the trophy presentation at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.
Wehan is one of 30 male nominees for the award, which is presented annually to the outstanding male and female players of the year.
