ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Volleyball is back.
The University of New Mexico volleyball team opened its 2016 campaign on Tuesday, August 9, as it held the first practices of the season in Johnson Center on the main campus of UNM.
The Lobos, under 10th-year head coach Jeff Nelson, will have two practice sessions almost every day for the next couple of weeks in anticipation for the start of their regular season at the UNM Invitational at Johnson Center on August 26-27.
The practices, which generally are in the morning and early afternoon in Johnson Center, are open to the media and the public.
