ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Where? That much we know. Or, at least, we think we do.
Against whom? That’s anyone’s guess.
The New Mexico Lobos (7-5) held their first postseason football practice in eight years Saturday, preparing for what virtually everyone thinks will be a berth in the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 19 on their home field.
Lobos coach Bob Davie has said before, and said again Saturday, that he believes a New Mexico Bowl bid is what’s best for his 4-year-old program in its first postseason appearance.
“I’ve watched this bowl game enough as a fan, so I think it would be great for our community, great for Lobo football,” he said.
