ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The University of New Mexico women's tennis head coach Stephanie Wooten-Quijada has announced that this weekend's matches with Western New Mexico on Friday and CSU Pueblo on Saturday, and UNM's road match at Abilene Christian on February 9 has been postponed indefinitely after four players were injured in a car accident.
Efforts will be made to get all three matches rescheduled, pending schedules. The Lobos are currently 1-1 on the season after losing to No. 19 Baylor and winning 6-1 over Western Michigan.
Four players were injured in the accident, although all are expected to return to action soon.
