A 21-point victory over San Jose State came at a hefty price for Air Force, which has lost starting quarterback Nate Romine to a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee.
Romine was sandwiched between three defenders while coming up just short of the goal line on a third-down run while trying to extend Air Force’s seven-point lead.
