UNM back court struggling with shots

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Lobos will tell you they are in full-on, looking-forward mode heading into the home stretch of the season.

And as New Mexico (15-10, 8-4 Mountain West) is sitting alone today in second place in the league standings, why not? There is no need to get too caught up in what could have been.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t some serious head scratching going on trying to figure out how to remedy the poor shooting of the team’s starting back court during what has been a break even 2-2 record in February.
