Tulsa Pulls Away for 40-21 Win Over UNM
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The University of Tulsa was consistent, scoring 10 points in each quarter as New Mexico made a rash of uncharacteristic mistakes and lost to the Golden Hurrican 40-21 in front of 24,167 on Branch Field at University Stadium.
The game saw the lead see-saw back in forth in the opening half. UNM opened the scoring with a quick and efficient six-play drive, all on the ground with the last 13 from Teriyon Gipson, but Tulsa answered right back, and even faster.
