DAVE’S LAMENT over the Lady Lobo Basketball Team’s most recent “disintegration” in San Diego was a sad marker for a team that has shown skills, cohesiveness, spirit, desire, maturity, and their ability to win, against all odds. You raise up our hopes and then you crush that faith in the team, its coaches, and yes, its fans, who in our fondest moments dream of them being a national force in NCAA lady basketball, at least west of the Mississippi River.
