The University of New Mexico men (6-4-2, 0-3-0) seek their elusive first Conference USA victory of the season today when hosting UAB tonight at 6 in the back end of a day-night soccer doubleheader. The Lobo women host Fresno State at 1 p.m.
The UNM men are still searching for not only their first win in conference play, but also a complete performance. They have yet to score in both halves of a game this season.
The Blazers (4-7-0, 1-2-0) feature C-USA preseason Offensive Player of the Year Freddy Ruiz. However, UAB has struggled defensively at times and hasn’t shut out anyone this season.
