Dillon Romine is planning a career in finance, hoping to help people invest their money wisely.
Of course, there’s more than one kind of investment.
For Romine, a fifth-year senior offensive tackle, his sweat equity in the University of New Mexico football program is being rewarded. After four years of sidelines and special teams, he’s expected to make the third start of his career Saturday against New Mexico State.
“It’s incredibly satisfying, to be honest,” Romine said after a UNM practice this week. “I’ve been here for so long. I’ve put in my work, and now it’s finally paying off.
