Tipping Off
A season-long five-game stretch at home for the University of New Mexico women's basketball team begins on Monday night as the Lobos play host to in-state rival New Mexico State. Monday's game will be the second and final installment of the 2019-20 Rio Grande Rivalry, presented by Nusenda Credit Union. The first game took place in mid-November in Las Cruces, and it was a decisive win for the Lobos as they beat the Aggies 86-67. That win for the Lobos improved their winning streak to five-straight over the Aggies.
The Lobos will enter the game at 7-4 overall and are coming off of a tough 84-47 loss on the road at (RV) Arizona State this past Saturday.
