ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- One of the main cogs behind UNM's "November to Remember" was Jhurell Pressley. One of the guys who epitomizes UNM football is David Anaya. Both players were honored with a pair of awards, leading the way at the 2015 New Mexico Football Awards Banquet, held Sunday evening at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Pressley was named both Reece Hill Offensive MVP and Bill Brannin Team MVP after leading the team in rushing and touchdowns for the second straight season. He turned in one of the year's most iconic moments when he opened the scoring against Boise State with a 74-yard touchdown run where he broke several tackles and tip-toed along the sidelines for the score.
