As the UNM men’s basketball team prepares for what is likely to be one of its largest home crowds of the season for tonight’s home finale against San Diego State in the Pit, the program also knows not even a sellout will save them from posting their lowest average home attendance since Ritchie McKay’s final season (2007). It will be the second lowest number in the 17 seasons it has played in the Mountain West Conference.
