The University of New Mexico women's basketball team has an opportunity ahead of them on Wednesday night at the University of Nevada that has not yet been able to present itself this season. In that, the Lobos are looking to complete a season-sweep of a Mountain West opponent. In the first meeting of the season, the Lobos cruised past Nevada by a score of 87-67.
The Lobos will enter Wednesday night's game 14-13 overall and 5-9 in Mountain West play. In their most-recent game, the Lobos shot the ball well, especially from beyond the arc, as they won on the road at UNLV for the first time since 2011.
