ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico volleyball team and head coach Jeff Nelson have announced that Tai Bierria, who played last year at the University of Memphis, will transfer to New Mexico and compete for the Lobos.
Bierria, a junior-to-be from Marietta, Georgia, will be eligible to play for New Mexico during the 2018 season after leading the Tigers in kills per set and points per set during her sophomore campaign in 2017.
"We are really happy to have Jaclyn joining our program," Nelson said. "She brings solid experience and is an outstanding athlete.
