New Mexico loses double OT thriller at Nevada

Nevada took advantage of a controversial flagrant foul against New Mexico’s Morris Udeze late in double overtime to hang on for a 97-94 win.

The Lobos, ranked No. 25, fell for the seventh consecutive time against former coach Steve Alford.

Guard Jamal Mashburn Jr led the Lobos with 33 points. Guard Jaelen House had 17 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Udeze finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, but was assessed a flagrant foul after an errant elbow hit a Wolf Pack player in the face while in a battle for a rbound.

Center Will Baker led the Wolf Pack with 28 points, including a monster dunk.
