ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Craig Neal wrapped up Monday’s Lobo men’s basketball practice with a simple message to his team.
They lost.
Big deal.
The Lobos coaching staff watched game film of the 90-82 setback at USC on Saturday and, while it saw plenty to work on, none of it was cause for major concern as the team moves forward in non-conference play, starting with Wednesday’s home game against Nicholls State.
“I think we’re pretty close to being a lot better team than we’ve been in a long time,” Neal said. “We’ve got to tweak some things and work on some things.
