FORT WORTH, Texas --- Bronte Murgett won in singles and doubles, and UNM picked up the doubles point lead, but TCU won the final three singles matches for a 5-2 win, dropping UNM to 0-2 after a early season road test weekend, taking on a pair of Big 12 contenders.
Murgett had a solid day overall, earning a 6-4 doubles win at No. 3, teaming with Natasha Munday. That win, over Addy Guevara and Mercedes Aristegui clinched the opening point for UNM. The other doubles win was by the team of Hsiang-Wen Huang and Yue Lin Chen, who beat Stevie Kennedy and Chloe Hule 6-2.
