Air Force did not emerge from its opener unscathed.
Tight end Garrett Griffin watched practice Monday with his left knee wrapped and in a brace. Though the team would not comment of his status, there was the sense that everyone was moving forward with sophomore Ryan Reffitt at the position.
“I thought Ryan Reffitt did a good job,” coach Troy Calhoun said.
