Lubbock, Texas--- The University of New Mexico men's tennis team finished their opening weekend today after two marathon matches in 35 degree weather. The Lobos battled Pacific for five hours this morning then turned around one hour later to take on Texas Tech. The squad played tough, but could not clinch either win.
The Lobos started off slow against Pacific in doubles play. Augutus Ge and Roldofo Jauregui battled hard to keep the Lobos in the fight, but fell 6-2 to Alex Giannini and Daniel Alameh.
