New Mexico forward Niko Hansen and defender Nicholas Rochowski both earned Conference USA Player of the Week awards, marking the second week this season the Lobos have taken both awards.
Rochowski grabbed the C-USA defensive player of the week honors, the conference announced Monday. The Lobos won two games in the TLC Plumbing and Utility Invitational over the weekend, beating Missouri State and American University.
Hansen claimed the offensive player of the week award, the conference announced Monday, after he netted a game-tying goal against American University on Sunday. College Sports News also elected Hansen to its national team of the week, according to a UNM release.
