It was a little crowded at the Rudy Davalos Center on Friday afternoon.
And Craig Neal couldn’t be happier.
As the UNM Lobos men’s basketball team held its first official full team practice of the 2015-16 season, 17 players were in practice jerseys. It was a far cry from a season ago when the injury-riddled Lobos had as few as eight healthy players practicing at times duringwhat became a painful losing season.
“It’s nice to have a little depth to work with,” Neal admitted.
Sixteen of those Lobo players we knew about. But the team made an unexpected announcement.
