Lobos Take Second Place in MW with 88-83 Win at Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – The University of New Mexico men's basketball team (13-8, 6-2 MW) took sole possession of second place in the Mountain West Conference with a road win over the Boise State Broncos (15-7, 6-3 MW), 88-83, Saturday at the Taco Bell Arena.

Elijah Brown led the Lobos with 30 points on 7-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-7 from 3-point range. Brown went 12-for-14 from the free throw line. He also logged five rebounds and five assists, a team high. Tim Williams scored 21 points with seven rebounds, while Cullen Neal chipped in 14 points.
