ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The 2016 football campaign for The University of New Mexico will be one in which the Lobos look to continue to build. This time, they are building off a bowl game.
The 2016 campaign officially begins on Thursday when 105 players will hit the practice field in preparation for the home opener on Thursday night, September 1 against South Dakota. In all, UNM will play six homes games, five road games and a neutral site road game against Air Force. Most of UNM's Fall camp practices are open to the public, and they are generally held in the mornings.
