USAFA, COLO. --- In a windy matchup versus Air Force, The University of New Mexico women's soccer team fell short in ending their road conference slate with a win, losing 3-0. Air Force was led by Lexi Romero who had a foot in all three goals scored, ending the match with two goals and one assist.
With the win, the Falcons (9-5-1, 4-4-0) have now forced five shutouts on the season, equal to the Lobos (9-6-0, 5-3-0).
In the opening half, a long shot from the Falcons hit the crossbar and bounced back into the box, finding Romero.
