ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The two-headed quarterback is back.
Care to try for three, anyone?
Last season, sophomore quarterback Lamar Jordan started 12 of
the University of New Mexico’s 13 football games. But junior QB Austin Apodaca took snaps in 10 of those 13 contests.
Defying the timeworn football adage that states, “If you have two quarterbacks, you don’t have one,” UNM coach Bob Davie said he expects both Jordan and Apodaca to see plenty of playing time again this fall.
