Leading Off
Down to the final four weekends of the regular season, the University of New Mexico baseball team looks to start to make serious inroads towards finishing in the Top-4 and qualifying for the Mountain West Tournament at the end of May. Currently, the Lobos are in sixth place in the league standings at 7-11. They are tied in the loss column with Nevada and UNLV, but trail both schools by three in the win column, making this weekend paramount for the Lobos.
Three of their final four weekend series are all against teams ahead of the Lobos in the standings.
