And now that it’s finally happening after two seasons, there seems to be an uneasy adjustment period taking place.
The UNM Lobos (9-6, 2-0 Mountain West) are leading their league in possessions per game (74.0). And they have picked up the pace even more so since conference play began, averaging 78.0 possessions in their past two games (no other MWC team has had more than 74 possessions).
