Tipping Off
Over the next two weeks, the University of New Mexico women's basketball team will play their mid-week conference games in the State of California as they are at San José State this coming Wednesday and at San Diego State the following Wednesday, January 29. While the day and location of their next two road games is unique, the tip-off times for each are as both are scheduled for Noon (MT) starts.
This weekday matinée game time has become somewhat of a trend in women's college basketball over the years and typically involves local youth attending in droves as part of a field trip of sorts.
