Linebacker Cody Moon, the New Mexico Lobos’ leading tackler last season, has committed to attend San Diego State next season after having entered the transfer portal earlier this month.
Moon, a Volcano Vista graduate, made the announcement on Twitter. He was in on 105 tackles this past season for UNM as a sophomore.
Moon has tweeted that he has two seasons of eligibility remaining but was in the UNM program — sitting out the season as a redshirt — in 2020, the COVID season, possibly giving him a third year.
