Lobos hope Clune Arena become’s Jaelen’s House once again

With a grin on his face, Jaelen House stood courtside in a quiet Clune Arena just over one year ago, on Feb. 5, 2022. It was moments after he had erupted for 42 points in a 91-75 Lobos victory over the Air Force Falcons.

“I mean, the basket looked as big as a hula hoop tonight,” House told the Journal that night. “… I made that (halftime buzzer-beater from just inside half court). You know it’s my night if I’m making shots like that.”

His 42 points that night were a career-high, tied for 10th most in a game ever by the Lobos and the most the Falcons have ever allowed to a player in a Mountain West game.
