ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The University of New Mexico women's soccer team had its six-game home winning streak snapped as San Jose State scored two goals within 26 seconds of each other in the second half to defeat the Lobos 2-1 Sunday afternoon at UNM Soccer Complex.
The Lobos (9-5 overall, 4-2 Mountain West) with the loss drop from first to second in the conference, one point behind San Jose State (7-5-1, 4-1-1), tied with UNLV (4-2 in MW) and Air Force (3-0-3 in MW), a point ahead of San Diego State (3-2-1) and two points ahead of Boise State and Wyoming (both 3-2-1).
