The 2015-16 season has yet to begin, but Craig Neal has already landed the first two pieces to his recruiting puzzle for the 2016-17 season.
Aher Uguak, a 6-foot-7 small forward of Sudanese decent who plays at Harry Ainlay High School in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, announced on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that he plans to be a Lobo.
“I am excited to announce that I have decided to commit to the University of New Mexico. #GoLobos” he posted along with a wide angle photo graph of a packed Pit.
Uguak was initially recruited to UNM by assistant coach Alan Huss, but was sold on Albuquerque this past weekend when seeing the facilities and meeting the entire staff on an official recruiting visit that also included his attending Friday night’s Lobo Howl.
