ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A season-long three-game losing streak came to an emphatic end on Tuesday night as the University of New Mexico women's basketball cruised past Northern New Mexico by a score of 92-44.
The Lobos (7-3), who led wire-to-wire in the game, were able to use the non-conference game with Northern New Mexico as an opportunity to reset as a team and prepare for a grueling upcoming slate of games that will see them play five games over a seven-day stretch. That gauntlet will begin this coming Saturday on the road as the Lobos will travel to Tempe, Ariz.
