Lobos even series behind productive bats; strong start from Garley

RENO, Nev. – The late-game rally that the University of New Mexico baseball team put together in Friday's loss at Nevada carried over into Saturday as the Lobos scored nine runs on 12 hits en route to a 9-3 win, evening the series with the Wolf Pack.

The beneficiary of the productive Lobo (11-6, 3-2 MW) offense on Saturday was Nathaniel Garley. The junior right-hander was sharp once more as he improved to 4-0 on the season. Garley would work 7.0 innings, scattering five hits, allowing one earned run, walking none and striking out four.
