Tipping Off
The University of New Mexico women's basketball team is set to embark on their Mountain West Tournament run beginning on Sunday afternoon against No. 8-seed Nevada. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 3 p.m. (MT). The winner of the opening round matchup will advance to the quarterfinals and take on top-seeded Fresno State on Monday at 1 p.m. (MT).
The Lobos finished the regular season 15-16 overall and 6-12 in the MW, slotting them the No. 9-seed in the tournament.
Statistically, the Lobos possess one of the top scoring offenses in the conference as they average 75.
