ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico got within 13 in the second half with a pair of touchdowns to open the third quarter, but Jordan Loves third touchdown pass quelled UNM's comeback attempt as the Lobos lost their ninth straight game to end the season, falling 38-18 to Utah State.
UNM ended the season 2-10, and 0-8 in the Mountain West, UNM's first winless conference season since 1989.
