ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Seven was a lucky number for The University of New Mexico women's soccer team as the Lobos pounded out seven goals on 29 shots in an easy 7-0 win over the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves in the lone exhibition game for the team.
Everyone seemed to get into the act for the Lobos in a game in which the two teams played three 30-minute periods, as opposed to the normal two 45-minute halves. Despite dominating the opening 30 minutes, UNM couldn't pierce the net until there were just 32 seconds left in the opening period.
